Hip Preservation Advisory Board

The Hip Preservation Advisory Board focuses on hip preservation in adolescents and young adults. The board is made up of members of the Academic Network of Conservational Hip Outcomes Research (ANCHOR). These physicians and researchers are committed to the study of hip preservation surgery. They participate in a network that meets regularly for detailed review and documentation of all hip surgery that they perform for hip dysplasia and related conditions. They also educate others and conduct basic research into the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of hip arthritis in an effort to improve care and postpone hip joint replacement when possible to do so.
